Assessment for learning

In our Growth Mindset classrooms, children know the purpose of the lesson, how well they are doing and where they need to go next. Feedback, either from the teacher or another student, either verbal or written, identifies what the student needs to do to improve.

Children use this feedback to develop their learning; the most effective feedback happens during the lesson.
